Review of the Barclaycard Ring Mastercard (2017)

Looking for 0% intro APR? Looking for a community for your credit card? Want a fixed rate for your cash advances?

If any of those are true, the Barclaycard Ring is going to be one of the top choices out there. That being said, if you’re just looking for 0% APR, I highly recommend you take a look at the Citi Simplicity or Blispay Credit Card (due to their better 0% APR offers). If you are looking more for a community or fixed cash advance rate, this is the card you’re looking for.

Here are the Barclaycard Ring’s benefits:

  1. Cash Advance Fee is only $3 (no %), with a 13.99% variable APR
  2. Chip + Pin technology for foreign transactions that require a pin
  3. You get access to the Barclaycard Ring Crowdsource Community
  4. No Balance Transfer Fees
  5. No Foreign Transaction Fees

Introductory offer: 0% introductory APR for the first 15 months on purchases. On top of this you also get 0% APR on balance transfers made within 45 days of the account opening.  After that, a variable APR will apply, 13.99%.

Should you get this card?: This card is for those who want to make a no fee balance transfer, have a credit card community, or make cash advances. The no fee balance transfer is very unique and I’ve never seen another offer like that. The credit card community is also something different, and may appeal to some of you. Finally, you pretty much never see a flat rate for cash advances, so this is the card for that. Need those? Feel free to apply.

Do note: Barclaycard prefers you have a good credit score (720+)
