Yep! This card comes with 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers.
Straight upfront though, I still not recommend spending more money than you have. 0% APR offers can get you into a huge debt hole if you only pay the minimum amount each month. That being said, make wise decisions and let’s get onto the review…
What does this card come with?:
- 0% Intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for 21 months
- No Annual Fee
- Citi Price Rewind, Extended Warranty, etc… (Basically the normal Citi benefits)
Drawbacks: There isn’t no cashback or point system that comes with this card. That’s because the card is targeted for people who may have a large purchase coming up or a lot of credit card/loan debt they want to balance transfer over.
Yes, you can use their balance transfer service to pay off a student loan, car loan, etc… Citi is one of the only banks who offer balance transfers in the form a check. (Please note their 3% & $5 minimum still applies.)
Personal Thoughts: I do not recommend this card if you can pay off your purchase(s) before the payment’s due date. This card offers no cashback or any form of rewards for putting your daily purchases on it, therefore it’s kinda a waste of a hard inquiry. Unless, you do have a student loan, car payment, or a large purchase coming up which you require time to pay back. (In general this credit card’s introductory 0% APR + fees is better than payday loans.)
