Review of the AMEX Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card (2017)

Fly Delta? Well with this new 60,000 point bonus offer, you might want to get this credit card!

Credits to Doctor of Credit for their post, essentially this is the best public offer for this credit card. But, you might be asking yourself why do you get this offer when you go onto the public application page?:

Simply put it you got to use this link:

So what are the benefits?

  1. You and two traveling companions can enjoy snacks and beverages, Wi-Fi access, satellite TV, newspapers and magazines, personalized flight assistance, private restrooms and more at Delta Sky Club® for a reduced fee of $29 per person. (Normally $59.00)
  2. Receive a 20% savings in the form of a statement credit after you use your Card on eligible Delta in-flight purchases of food, beverages, and audio headsets. Some in-flight purchases do not apply.
  3. Priority Boarding
  4. No Foreign Transaction Fees
  5. Other Amex Benefits that can be found in our other review on an Amex Card: Blue Cash Rewards

Introductory Offer: 60,000 miles after $3,000 in spend within the first four months & $50 statement credit after your first Delta purchase + Annual fee of $95 is waived first year.

I believe that introductory offer is better than the one offered from the referral program:

So… Should you jump on this offer?: The one thing about airline credit cards is that the public offer / targeted offer may rise or fall significantly at random times. But, it’s unlikely that a better one will come out any time soon, so if you are planning on making a large purchase you might want to take a look at this card. Plus, Amex is a good credit card in general with solid benefits. The only problem about Amex is that their credit card isn’t accepted everywhere (especially out of the USA), so take that into consideration.

Once again here’s the application link:

Here’s our referral link (You get the same public offer)
